Any words or actions that threaten, demean, or intimidate others will not be tolerated. Appropriate measures will be taken to protect patients and staff.
Disruptive Behavior
The Walk-in & Family Practice Clinic defines disruptive behavior as any inappropriate words, actions, or inactions that interfere with a respectful and safe environment.
Inappropriate Actions/Inactions

Physical violence, including attacks or threats of harm

Intimidation

Damaging property, throwing objects, or breaking items

Unwelcome physical contact

Failure to comply with clinic policies and/or agreements

Refusing to leave the premises when requested
Inappropriate Words (In Person, By Phone, or Any Other Means of Communication)

Consequences
Any behaviour that falls within these categories will result in immediate action. Offending individuals may be asked to leave, law enforcement may be contacted, and/or the individual may face dismissal from our practice.
